Bluebell Wood

On Bank Holiday Monday we took a trip to a beautiful bluebell wood in a secret location near Swansea. We'd been there 3 weeks ago in the hope of seeing some, however, we were slightly disappointed because they weren't in bloom back then, so this visit was all the more special!
Swathes of bluebells carpeted the woodland floor...isn't it gorgeous?
I love the colour blue in nature; it's so striking and vivid.
If you're planning on taking a trip to a bluebell wood then now's your chance; late April to early May is usually the best time of year to see bluebells.
I really hope that you've enjoyed the photos and they've tempted you to come and visit Wales.
Thank you for reading :)
