I'm a firm believer that Wales has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, and Rhossili is the perfect place to enjoy one.
My boyfriend and I went for a fish & chip supper at the Worm's Head Hotel, a cliff-top property which has stunning views of Rhossili Bay. It has indoor and outdoor seating, and whilst it was a bit too chilly to sit outside on this occasion (typical Welsh summertime weather!), I was able to nip outside to get some shots of the sun going down over the horizon. The food and service was great (traditional pub grub) but the restaurant itself is a little dated. The views, however, are fantastic!
It was so lovely hearing the waves lapping against the shore, and seeing the reflection of the sun on the sea as the sky changed colour.
Isn't it lovely how the simple things are also the most beautiful and special things?
