Daffodils

The daffodil is the national flower of Wales, and is worn on St. David's Day on 1st March. It is a symbol of our patron saint, David, and of rebirth and faithfulness because they bloom every year. Daffodils remind me that winter will soon be gone and the days will be longer and warmer...they're such a bright and cheerful flower! I love having a vase of daffs in the house to brighten up a room and cheer myself up 😊

On our way back from Cornwall on Sunday we drove past some beautiful fields of daffodils, and we decided to stop so we could enjoy them all the more and take some photos. Daffodils are one of my favourite spring flowers, and it was so special to see so many of them!

I hope you've had a great weekend and you're enjoying the springtime blooms as much as I am! Angharad x
