Snow Day

It's dark when you wake up. It's dark when you go home. It's so cold. You have a cold. Your heating bill is going to be astronomical. However, once a sprinkling of snow is thrown into this wintry mix, all is (almost) forgiven (I must admit, I really hate the cold!). There's something exciting about snow; maybe it's because we don't get it very often in Wales, so it's a bit of a novelty.

Your inner child appears from nowhere and it's time to go sledging and snowman building.
Everything looks so beautiful.

I hope you've enjoyed these photos from our fun snow day in the Swansea valleys!

  1. I am so happy we got snow in Wales, there wasn't so much in Cardiff so we headed up to the Valleys with the sled and was so much fun. Where is this? Story Arms? Such a fantastic view

  4. I honestly hate everything about winter. You've named how it's cold, how everyone gets colds, and that's literally me right now. It's good that you can embrace the snow, but the second the weather drops I drop the blinds and hide away for months lol.
